Founding partner of Gama Capital. He started his career at Banco Garantia in 1986. In 1989 he moved to Banco Icatu where he stayed for 11 years where he worked at the bank’s trading desk, opened Icatu Securities in NY and later took over Icatu Investimentos, which in 2000 was the largest independent company of resource management. After a master’s degree at Stanford Business School, in 2002 he became President of Icatu Hartford (now Icatu Seguros). In 2007 he leaves Icatu Hartford and joins as partner and CEO of BRZ Investimentos, where he remained until 2010. In early 2011, he founded Gama Investimentos focused on private equity.

Associate Professor at NYU, focusing on public administration and economic development. He holds a degree in Public Administration from FGV, a Master’s in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Tufts University (USA) and a PhD in Urban Studies from MIT. Since 2020, he has been a researcher for the Amazon 2030 project and has advised public agencies, multilateral institutions, non-governmental entities, foundations and private companies in matters related to the promotion of products compatible with the forest. Salo Coslovsky writes a monthly column for the PlenaMata portal and his research on the Amazon has been featured in Valor Econômico, Exame, Época Negócios, BBC, CNN, Veja, O Globo, among others.
