Startups and producers emerged that modernized themselves to supply demanding markets with quality. Home to somewhere between 10% and 15% of all the biodiversity on the planet, the Amazon brings together more than 2,000 cocoa varieties, 140 varieties of cassava, 114 types of honey from native bees, among hundreds of other items in an extensive list. The combination of this rich biodiversity with businesses willing to grow has the potential to develop the region's economy. How to make this possible?
